This 4th of July-themed macrame decor is currently only available for purchase for a limited time while supplies last but displaying ol' Glory never goes out of style. These projects give summertime vibes all summer long 🇺🇸☀️🍉🎆💦⛱️🕶️

If you've never picked up macrame before these projects are a great place to start! The American Flag project only uses 1-knot type, the square knot, and the bunting garland only uses the double half hitch knot. So you'll get great practice with these widely used macrame knots and will create 2 classic pieces for your home that you will cherish for years to come!

What to Expect

This bundle includes 2 kits:

American Flag Macrame Kit

  • Bundles of Red, White, & Blue cotton string
  • 12" wooden dowel rod
  • Bundle of thinner natural cotton string to use for hanger

4th of July Macrame Bunting Garland Kit

  • Bundles of Red, White, & Blue cotton string
  • Comb for finishing the finge
  • 15 wooden beads

For both kits you will need to bring:

  • A pair of scissors, tape measure, and your beverage of choice 🧋

💻 Inside your kits there will be a QR code linking to the step-by-step video tutorials walking you through the entire project. No squinting at the screen asking “what did she do there?” We’ve got you.

Finished Dimensions:

Your finished Macrame American Flag will measure: 12" wide x 32" long

Your finished 4th of July bunting garland will measure: ~54" wide from each end bunt. The string to hang measures ~84" wide but you can cut it to whatever size you need for your space!

All new Madefolk items may be returned in their original condition within 30 days of receipt. To initiate a return please contact us at hello@madefolk.com and include your order number and reason for returning.

To exchange an item, you will need to return and re-order. You will be charged for the new order and refunded when your exchange is received and processed in original condition. Contact hello@madefolk.com with your order number to receive a complimentary return shipping label.

FAQ's

How long will it take me to complete each project?

The Macrame American Flag takes on average 3-4 hours to complete and the 4th of July Bunting Garland takes on average 3 hours to complete. You can take your time or crank it out, it's up to your creative flow! But above all let’s get that finished project feeling rather than adding to the half-done-project-wasteland (*speaking from experience*).

Can I really do this?

These projects was designed with intention. We know our taste levels usually outweigh our creative skill set but not these projects! You can expect a fresh, simple, high-quality result you'll be proud of and *actually* want to display. You can do this, we promise!

Does the kit come with everything I need?

Yes! The kits includes ALL the supplies you will need to complete these projects. You will only need to provide scissors and any type of tape measure/ruler.

*Plus the tutorial video & PDF pattern will give you all the confidence you need to complete your flag and garland!
